Colors for adsense

I've got this site, http://www.html-site.nl
now i'm not happy with the colors of the adsense links at the top and at the left which i have chosen now. could you help me with better colors.
and second, is putting the adsense at the left in a box better or worse for my CTR?

 

I sometimes use this tool to generate some nice looking color combinations for adsense:

It allows you to enter your primary color, then a 6 color plalete is generated for you to look at. It usually generates some nice looking color combinations. Then you can try using those colors in different parts of your ad until you find one you like.

 

what's wrong with the colors...?

 

I'm not sure, it's more the question if they jump out. people dont click much on them. I think it could be better. But maybe you guys think its allright now.

 

Try dark red. It will be shiny among the pale colors.

ok thank you so far, i already red the adsense tips about colors before, i wil try darker colors for now. maybe some advice about the box the left adsense skyscraper is in. should i place it in a box or just without the box.
