Are you talking about the blue background? You can have it by placing body background color in your CSS. The website using a small image and and repeated horizontally to achieve the results. Right click on the blue background and say "View Background Image" to have a look at the image used for background.

I understand that I need to get a long narrow image and then repeat it ... but specifically what code do I add or edit in CSS to get the image to repeat, and repeat only on the sides (and not in the center) ?
