Color lightens in Photoshop when I try to save an image.

    When I try to save an image in Photoshop the image lightens.

    Anybody knows why this is happening? How do I disable this?

    Here is a screenshot to explain my problem:

    Have you tried exporting it as, say, a jpeg to see if it's the format settings?

    Yes I have tried saving it through the "Save for web and Devices" window in all the formats. It changed the brightness in all the formats.

    Is it Photoshop? The text looks washed out as well - I presume that is text?
    It could be your icc working profiles?
