Today was the first day of senior year. Should be a fun one, but it hit me today. I start applying for colleges in a few months. I have a few colleges in mine, but am looking to major in entrepreneurship with maybe a minor in internet marketing. Thanks to by friends here at DP that have inspired both of those. I will let my mind keep wondering about a creative "milliondollarhomepage" scheme to get me through college but would really like to collect some scholarships on the way too. My parents are well of finicially so government money is out of the question, even though theres nothing to check for "My parents aren't going to give me there money". I've done a few of these public scholarships but am really looking for some tips on finding the ones that no one knows about. You guys might have some tricks up in your hat and I would love to find out what they are. Thanks
I got a $2,000 scholarship for doing a little research and writing an essay (after I was already enrolled). Check what's available directly from the schools you're looking at. Talk to your guidance counselor. There are probably websites that have scholarship databases and stuff.
Thanks Rob. Found a large online database of them but am really looking to discover some "niche" ones. 10k wouldn't be to bad of a way to start off college.
