College Gambling rules

    so basically I am curious about if you can gamble on say college basketball with out money! You have say your budys get an ncaa tournament going and the winner gets an xbox360 is that considered gambling..? on college athletics

    gambling involves any considerations--doesn't have to be financial. So, yes, that's gambling.

    Now, will anyone care? If it's just among those you know (no Internet, setup, etc) then probably not.

    If there's no entry fee/consideration, it would be a giveaway.

    Check your state's lotto, raffle and gambling statues for more.

    Make sure you check your laws, because Florida has more specific laws regarding this stuff than other states.
