i have a site thats getting load of social network type college students... what affiliates are converting well for these? thanks right now i have paid for surveys, get paid to type and textbook ads
Yes dating, ringtones and freebies (esp ipod and tickets) convert well to this audience ( trust me i know ) Also free magazine offers like Maxim, Stuff, wired, playboy etc. (offered by maxbounty) if looking for networks to signup for try the two in my sig. Great payout and managers.
anyone with anymore ideas? the "paid to fill survey arent converting despite about 3000 impression" i guess clickbank is crappy for college students!
i dont thing surveys will do it, "us" ,as me being one, college students dont not really like surveys, ringtones bring intrest and from experience they pay out pretty good too also as mentioned above, ipods are used by many in college, 1 out of 3 mostly has one, im getting one this week lol so ipod offers and cellphone offers would do it .

700 people clicked the link or 700 visited the page where the link to the offer was? if 700 clicked the link the EPC .09 is low. but if your making more money than before than its all good for you!
biziboy, if your conversions get better overtime don't be afraid to ask your affiliate rep to increase the amount you get paid per lead.
guys, after about a year of just plain reading about internet marketing etc and not really doing much, ive spent the last two days promoting the site to get $300 im using "complimentary ringtone" --- on azoogle the 700 was traffic sent to the site, not the clicks, i think i got about 100 or so clicks..... i need to be more efficient at tracking things... as for the other programs, ipods, other freebies, im afraid to put any new stuff on the site since the tones are converting well... i may try them... also this is a temporary thing because the traffic was from a news story which is about 4 days old right now... so traffic is trickling away.. for the suggestion about asking aff managers for a higher CPA, i will keep that in mind... thanks for that great bit of advice its been crazy, i havent logged into DP for 2 days, whereas i used to live on DP before... ill keep you great folk upto date for those who are in bad times, just keep at it... eventually something will hit
