collecting emails is a must

    Hi guys,

    I just went throught the stats of my clickbank products.. I search my aweber list for everybody who has bought my product.

    I discovered that over 60% of my own sales came from my email list!

    I think no matter how you are marketing clickbank products you should be collecting emails. if you are article marketing then dont go straight to the vendors page. Make your own website and collect emails. Same with PPC marketing.

    those people who dont have an autoresponder yet go and check out aweber right now.

    Did you take the email from the clickbank receipt and search aweber for a match?

    As a vendor, I can't find another way to track if sales come from my Aweber autoresponder because I can't use clickbank tracking or I will reset the cookie and prevent the affiliate from making commissions.

    Maybe there's a way to set a second cookie when a user clicks an autoresponder link, than put the tracking code on the download page.

    When the wife goes to bed, I will check to see how many convert from my followups.. Congrats on the good results. Very inspiring

    yeah i just search one email at a time and made a little tally. I thought it was interesting however.

    I am now going through my autoresponder messages and making changes..

    So far I have 12 messages.. I will probbaly go to about 30 messages and send them 3-5 days apart from each other. This should then send out about 500 emails every day.. All i need is one or 2 of these to convert and I will be happy.

    oh, I was trying to use TID's to track sales from my messages but it only works if you are using an affiliate link.. eg www.importajapcar.com/?tid=email4 wont show any TID in clickbank..

    any way of using TIDs as a vendor? This way I could track the exact email or even the exact link in the email that made the sale.

    Agreed. Having your own list is the best real estate you can have to sell your products to again and again.

    i collected them from my own sites using aweber

    build SEO friendly sites around your topic and collect emails.

    eg.. Im selling the product in my sig.. so i make websites ABOUT specific cars. i then have an opt in box saying "want to know how to import one of these cars? enter your email below and I will tell you"
