Confusion is not free. It's its main drawback.

And why exactly does every language have to be free? Most of us use Windows or Apple and they are not free. Its pretty affordable to get a coldfusion ready hosting account.

ColdFusion language (CFML) is free, Adobe ColdFusion Web Server is not free.

My big gripe is that servers are not free, rack space is not free, wholesale bandwidth is not free, electricity is not free, diesel fuel for back up generators is not free. That's OK with these people who complain about ColdFusion not being free.

Allaire ColdFusion was pronounced dead at version 3 about 10 years ago, long live ColdFusion.

it is amazing to see so loyal user base for ColdFusion, it almost feels as dramatic as Apple Fanbase :) I am impressed and only this conviction of the users as pushed me towards Coldfusion!
I already have a license (student!!) and I am going to try my hand at it with a flex app of mine!
does any one know a good place to learn ORM functionality of Coldfusion9 with Flex 3 ??
I have googled butt flat with no sizable results!
    cheers

This was funny but I was LMAO reading the replies from "gavy", "ComboAlex". It is very obvious they don't get the sarcastic humor. So for the people who don't get it, "robhustle" is stating the strengths of ColdFusion but in a negative way. He is actually saying ColdFusion is better.

If you still don't get sarcasm it is probably because English is not you main language.

What's even funnier is you replying to a 3-year old thread.

Pfft. There are so many 5-year old threads on DP where people constantly repeat what everyone else says, it's ridiculous.

Then have the old threads closed if you don't want additional replies.
