Coldfusion debug missing

    I have a problem when I'am developing my coldfusion applications. When you run the file from internet explorer or firefox. When I recieve an error I no longer recieve the error box with debuging information and location of the error just a plain message e.g "500 object instantiation exception" always including the 500. So now for me to find the error location I have to look up the logs each time. It just stopped working all of a sudden and around the time I changed the Java virtual machine. I tried changin it back but it still will not work. Coldfusion is stored on my local machine. Any know a fix.

    This may seem obvious... but you said you tried changing it back. Did you do this by logging in to your CFADMIN and selecting the debug options from the left navbar?

    If its installed on your local machine then you should be able to get to your cfadmin by this link:

    http://127.0.0.1:8500/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm

    yes i did change it through cfadmin and all the options for debuging are set
