ColdFusion connect to MySQL db

    How do I connect my pages to a mysql database. Mind you I am running the free Cold Fusion software for developers.

    Follow the instructions on Adobe's site here - it will show you how to integrate the MySQL JDBC driver and set it up to use within Coldfusion.

    It doesn't matter whether you're using the Developer version, pro, or enterprise version of ColdFusion.

    Older version of CF might need to get patch to connect to MySQL 5+
