    Considering the site is completely inactive now, I do not see the value of 7k.
    May I ask, does it still generate any revenue with the very little traffic it gets?

    Hi,
    thank you for your interest.
    just i was checking the host yesterday. and i found those old screens (7 years old screens).
    http://www.codingcore.com/codingcore_adsense.jpg
    http://www.codingcore.com/codingcore_wm.jpg
    so i can understand that the website is offline for long time, and i understand that the traffic decreased due to the website inactivity.
    but also i know that the value of this website is way higher the 7k$, it really got huge potential.

    i have had serious plans for this website, and i had no intention to sell it.
    i am only offering it for sale now, because of urgent financial problems which i recently have.

    Those screenshots from seven years ago are worthless. I understand that it had some potential 7 years ago. However, 7 years ago there was a lot of high-end forums making a lot of money. Where are they now? Hardly to be seen. Even here at Digital Point is hardly doing what it use to.
    Just because the site gained momentum seven years ago don't mean its valuable now when it has nothing going for it.

    Lets look at the facts:
    1) The site has had zero content what so ever in two-three years.
    2) The site is not generating any traffic.
    3) Forums are almost dead and are dying.
    4) You value the site based on sentimental value.

    If you happen to sell the site at 7k, I congratulate you. However, down the road, if you start seeing that there are really no interested buyers looking to fork out 7k for this website, then I suggest you start valuing the site on an outside view looking in.

    Buyers will be looking at what the site is generating now. Not what it "could" be, or how it did 7 years ago.

    Well, If you are talking about the domain. I think you might need to reconsider the value of "CodingCore" domain
    "CodingLive.com" => domains price is $7,495
    "CodingCat.com" => domain price is $8,095
    "CodingFreaks.com" => domain price is $5,295
    "CodingFront.com" => domain price is $3,995

    So, to be honest with you. i definitely can assure that the domain itself worth a lot more than the 500$ which you just offered. (even without the website)

    That's the price it's listed at, not the price it is selling at. There's a big difference. I recently purchased a domain that was listed at $2,000 but negotiated it down to $1,250. $750 difference. How long have those domains been listed there at that price without a sale?
    I can list a domain for $10k USD. Don't mean it is worth that much, nor will it actually sell for that much.

    I agree your domain is worth more than $500 though! Just not $7k

    since you just agreed about that the value of the domain is worth more than 500$,
    then please let me know about the best offer that you can make.
    i am really selling because of financial problems and you seems to be an honest and serious buyer,
    so i am open to serious negotiations.

    I agree with everyone else, you definitely killed the whole forum by letting it go inactive.
