CodeIgniter framework a good idea?

I am choosing a PHP framework for a small/medium size project for my client.

Do you think CodeIgniter framework is a good choice?

I have worked with it before and I like it a lot - because it's fairly easy to use, lightweight, does quite a lot of job for you and it it is well documented. Would you recommend something else? If yes, why.

    Thanks a lot.

You answered the question yourself, and everything you said was correct.

Use the framework you are the most comfortable with. If you like it why do you bother seeking another one ?

I would have to agree as well. Many people (especially including myself) waste valuable time looking for the best resource for a project, for an idea, for Anything- when they already have everything they need. You absolutely answered the question for yourself, and Yes, CodeIgniter is in the top 5 of most well known PHP Frameworks out there... So I would master that since you already have experience and keep it going! Best Wishes.

yes it is good. You can also have a look at cakephp and Yii. I found these 3 frameworks very good, and use on my websites often.
