I am choosing a PHP framework for a small/medium size project for my client. Do you think CodeIgniter framework is a good choice? I have worked with it before and I like it a lot - because it's fairly easy to use, lightweight, does quite a lot of job for you and it it is well documented. Would you recommend something else? If yes, why. Thanks a lot.
Use the framework you are the most comfortable with. If you like it why do you bother seeking another one ?
I would have to agree as well. Many people (especially including myself) waste valuable time looking for the best resource for a project, for an idea, for Anything- when they already have everything they need. You absolutely answered the question for yourself, and Yes, CodeIgniter is in the top 5 of most well known PHP Frameworks out there... So I would master that since you already have experience and keep it going! Best Wishes.
yes it is good. You can also have a look at cakephp and Yii. I found these 3 frameworks very good, and use on my websites often.
