I had read a bit on CodeAds - there were some debates on whether it was a ripoff or not, so I decided to beta it for myself. The *are* a ripoff. Their deception is there advertise $1.20/CPM guaranteed... however what they don't say anywhere on their site is that they only allow one impression per day per IP. This is pretty lame, I understand click fraud, etc but advertising CPM and doing one-per-day uniques is the same as buying that .01 cell phone charger on ebay and seeing the 39.99 shipping charge. I've seen them advertised around and while this may be a decent solution for folks who have a ton of uniques per day with very little repeat traffic, if you depend at all on repeat traffic (forums, news sites, blogs, etc) stay far away. There are much better options
