Code I saved from over a year ago

    I have AdSense code over a couple years ago I saved in NotePad for a 728 pix wide banner and have used that same code in new sites / pages I have launched. What about that line in the code:
    google_ad_channel ="";

    I can just delete it and save the page and then republish it . . . right?

    why you don't make a new code ?
    it's much easyer

    Actually the code for the 728 pix wide banner is easier because all I need to do is open Notepad & there it is....right click & copy the code and paste it where ever I want without going into AdSense set up and picking out all that stuff etc.

    Its possible, but im not sure if Google are happy with publishers using the old code.
