Code for 'Bookmark this Site'

I want to give visitors the ability to add my site to their favourites by clicking on a link/image. Can anyone let me know the best way to do this for someone who is programming illiterate?

That's the code I use on my site

In my case awstats shows the number of users that bookmark my site, don't know if there is some other way with javascript, php and a DB.

Some bookmark this page code only works properly in IE. There are some examples on the net that work for both though.
