Bought the domain yesterday and got started on the web site. My first attempt at a game theme site. What do I really need to attract users? I have the basic layout done but need to add more content. Thanks for suggestions. Mike CODcloud.com
Looks good, but youtube videos are masking some part of the adsense ads on your website, you need to fix that problem..
to attract users you should start posting hacks/other game related on content on other sites and places like youtube with your sites link
Thanks for the feedback. I used Call to Duty instead of Call of Duty because there is way less competition in keywords, but still lots of global searches. Will have to check the video blocking ads, Can not have that! Thanks for the comment suggestion and I have started posting the link in a few places. Built a couple of applications for the name. (module, gadget) It should propagate onto the net pretty soon. Still need more content. Perhaps a link with every description for the term cod cloud maybe? CODCLOUD
UPDATE: Added a comment box. Its not pretty but hopefully functional. If any one could test it, that would be great. I was able to leave a comment. It is at the bottom of page. You can change rooms by changing the channel name. If its Ok, maybe I can "dress" it up a little. To leave comment you just type in any nickname you want. CODCLOUD

Thanks Sedan. This a topic I like. I am a gamer myself. I should be able to supply accurate game information anyway! lol I usually get filled full of lead when I play online, but have fun any way. Never had stuff like that when I was a kid. (Commodore 64 was my first computer) Did always say though, that if you do not keep up with technology, it will leave you in the dust. (I have been spitting out dirt a lot time)
Still do not have feedback on the comment box. Its on the C.O.D chat page. If it does not work for people, I will scrap it and find something else. I like working on these game sites. Watch some kick-*ss promo videos while I am building them. Question. My portfolio includes wwwcod (dot) net. Would you redirect it to codcloud(dot)com or build a separate website for it? Working on GOW Cloud (dot) com now. Any decent gamer will know what shooter game that site is for. Made a little promo for the site. Pulling my hair out trying to get it to loop. I think my long music file is stopping it. Just another thing on the list that needs more attention. Not sure how people see the site now. In the IE browser, my personal settings for viewing made the site look wrong.
