.co.uk - Where's the best cheapest place to register? Does it need to be registered for a minimum of 2 years?

Yes, you need to register for a minimum of 2 years and renew on a 2 years incremental. GoDaddy and Namecheap does it.

I registered Timeless4.co.uk at NameCheap, had to do it for 2 years and dead cheap too.

Or there is Telivo.com a British company.

UKReg.com is where I used to register mine (I'm now a UK domain registrar myself, but don't have a public facing service at present) - they would be my recommendation if you're happy to pay in Pounds.

    1and1 is where I usually go. 2 years for £4 I think.

I keep mine at Godaddy although it's a higher price that I have to pay them. 1and.1.co.uk has the best price though. £2,34 a year.

Beware with 1&1, read all the horror stories surrounding this registrar/domain hosting.

Dynadot and Domainsite are cheaper for registeringg co.uk domains.

I prefer UKreg.com. No hassle at all.

One thing you have to watch out for with these so called cheap registers, is when you want to change register, some of them charge a fortune to release the name tag.

I decided to end up going with Godaddy, used a coupon code to save a few bucks.
