I have a domain in mind, in the video game niche.

Which do you think is better:

    co.uk or .org
(Will I get different traffic? SEO benefits? etc)

I always aim for .com, I'd go for .org after because Americans aern't likely to type in .co.uk

Google Webmasters Groups are full of 'I lost my position' thrilling stories about HUGE differences in SERPS between google.co.uk and google.com .
So yes, you have a choice between British traffic ( co.uk) and American one ( .org), but this is for now and no one knows what will big G bring us for the next year.

If you ask me an advice, I am proudly to choose org than co.uk. It look like co.uk only for uk citizen and dedicated for local market.if you don't mind to target traffic from uk so it's better to choose co.uk.

If you're visitors will mainly be from UK or EU..co.uk should be good for you..or if you want a TLD which is more global, go for .org

.org is so much easier to type and more used than co.uk as it takes too much time to write for me :)

If both domain names are available - register both of them.
