If you have a .co.uk domain is it likely to be ranked over a .com domain when searching from google.co.uk? Thank you.
What helps is if you have links from co.uk domains hosted in UK. Everything else can help but links are most important.
Surely.....if you have good number of backlinks, Good and unique content , also if your site is hosted on UK server will add benefit for better ranking for .co.uk
IMO and experience its down to content relevancy and link relevancy. If G is being searched for UK information then it will use its algos to return pages with the greatest UK match. Having a .co.uk is a factor in determining a sites relevancy for UK, but you can have .com sites with equal or greater relevancy for a given search. PS - I manage several .co.uk websites. Gordano
