Co-Registration Program

We're about to embark on a co-registration promotion with a number of sites. Essentially the way this will work is that we're all going to be contributing something (e.g., free e-book, audio program, etc.). Someone signing up will get access to all of this free content. The only thing that they'll need to do is provide their name and e-mail address. Each participating company in the program will be allowed to send each participant a one-time e-mail (with a promotion, asking them to sign up for their newsletter, etc.).

    A few questions:

    1. How well do you think this will work? I've heard of some companies having a lot of success with stuff like this.

    2. Any details we should think about with this?

    3. Are there any tools to facilitate programs like this? For example, software that would make this a seamless process (vs. us having to develop this in-house).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
