G'day all, What's your average traffic coming exclusively from your ads in the co-op network? I mean, in the end this is an ad network so if we exclude the SE related benefits, what's left? 100 hits/day? 1000? Thanks!
That would depend on your weight and impressions, your weight could be theoretically related to paying for an ad based on impressions. If you have loads of weight, you get loads of impressions and therefore more exposure. Piece of string type of thing, sorry I could be more specific.
ok, let's say that I have around 4-5000 impressions/day and 3 ads/page. don't tell me it depends on the CTR - just give me some numbers from your own experience (you're not breaking the TOS, are you?
I don't know my total impressions as I have a lot of ads but its probably several thousand at least a day. I typically might get 20-30 clickthroughs and 1 sale a week. Thats not great if you were paying for it but its enough to keep me with this network. Static links may or may not be better as far as SEO but when it comes to advertising the rotating ones outperform. Very few people post about clickthroughs though so there isn't a whole lot of data on it. I think Sorvoja has posted that he does pretty good with click throughs
I've gotten traffic from the network - not thousands of hits a day or anything like that, but who am I to complain. It's free. I've found some cool sites in the network myself.
I have 40,000+ weight now in the Coop and don't notice anything Coop related in my referral logs. Thankfully, the SERP help is still worth being in the Coop. Is there anyway to check exactly how much traffic we get through the Coop?
