Co-op information

    Hello,

I am trying understand the scope and functions of the Co-op network. Most of the threads I read are people being banned or asking how they can make money from it.

Is anyone willing to just see what site(s) I had in mind to sign up with and let me know if I'm not violating terms or if a site is even relevant. If not, some links to where I can understand more about it?

Usually, I sign up with things like this and can usually piece it all together. But, with all of these terms and guidelines, I don't want to start off on the wrong foot.

And, Shawn: Your guidelines say no Pharmaceutical ads. What if I'm promoting an herbal weight loss supplement that is not a prescription? The site is gaining some good serp placement and it seems to be gaining some brand equity from the domain name itself as I am seeing some direct traffic by people simply typing in the domain name.

    Thanks everyone...

You would need to post the site URLs if you want people to look at them I would think. :)

    Ooops...that's kind of important isn't it...

    They are:

    www.AdvanceDietPill.com
    www.Weight-Loss-Discussion.com
    www.VisualSavings.com
    www.LibertyPills.com

Another which isn't live yet would be an investigative site for background checks etc....

Basically, sites in which I try and sell a service or product via an affiliate program I've signed up with (except my forum). But all sites are totally owned and operated by me.

The "pill" sites may or may not make the cut... them being pharmaceutical related is really going to be subjective to whoever reviews them. They may not be prescription, but one could argue they are related to pharmaceutical stuff (you would buy them in the pharmacy section of a store for example I would guess).

Well, my question would be then, can I submit it without being banned right off the bat?

Also, is there any way I could submit an explanation about the pill sites as they are something that you would find at GNC and Hoodia is becoming a pretty big trend. I would hope that would maybe this would "soften" up whoever reviews them :).

You can submit them, whether or not they get approved is another thing though. And no, there is no option to submit an "explanation" of anything.

You might as well just submit them and see what happens. It doesn't tke long to do :)

You can't get banned just by submitting bad sites. They will simply be declined.

You would get banned for deceptive things, such as putting a site live about computers then switching the content to porn once it got authorised.
