This person seems to de-value the links by adding javascript, looks like the co-op to me. Cheers to GuyfromOz for the find.

That isn't my site, but I know that I accidentally left code on one of my smaller sites just a few weeks ago that automatically added JavaScript to all links, and it was applying it to the co-op links for a couple of days before I caught it and fixed it. It could just be an honest mistake...

I don't understand why people cheat this system.

In certain cases guys it could be a mistake.
I use vbSEO for my forum & if my site was in the coop it might change the links to noreferral if you are testing it out & make a mistake with the settings.

I finally found this thread and showed it to my web designer. Neither of us understand what the problem is with the JavaScript. He did it for appearance - the links are there in my browser and the three spider simulators I tried.

    For example:

    http://www.webconfs.com/search-engine-spider-simulator.php

    [ ... internal links ... ]
    http://www.credit-mortgage ...
    http://www.worldclasshummer ...
    http://onlinedegree.gadget-info ...
    http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/ad-network/
    http://www.templatesresource ...

I'm sure he can "fix" things by removing the JavaScript but we don't understand the problem.

    No evil intended.

So what do we do now?

You can set it back to work how it does by default.
