Co-op Advertising on an XML feed?

    There really isn't a way for it to know that's an XML feed based on the URL... you may want to put the word "xml" somewhere in the URL (if possible).

    Ok, so I think Google might be indexing my xml feeds and showing in the SERPs. I would rather not block this with robots.txt but how else would I get the coop to stop looking at these pages?

    Shouldn't the application just look at the first line of the page to determine content?

    Sorry Shawn, if this makes more work for you. I'm sure the fact that you are making zero dollars from the co-op doesn't help motivate.

    It would need to be able to determine if it's XML without first downloading it...
