Co-op ad network question: what about forums with private areas?

I'm thinking about joining the co-op ad network, and i've got a question about one of my websites. I've got a forum that gets some traffic, and there are parts of the form that are inaccessible by the anonymous web visitor - you have to be a registered member to access the special content. (much like the underground forum here)

I didn't see anything in the guidelines about this one way or the other - and was wondering if displaying co-op ads on pages that are inaccessible to the general anonymous viewing public are allowed.

Thanks, and sorry if this is a stupid question! lol :D

My understanding is that it is fine if you display ads that are only viewable by registered members. The weight of the site is calculated by the number of pages in Google's index and the pagerank of the site, not the pageviews, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Obviously though, I'm not an admin, so you might want to wait for word from the top, or at least from someone who knows more then I do.

You can display them anywhere you want, including members only pages. If Google doesn't index them, they don't actually help you in any way so its completely up to you.
