That's incorrect. .com.co was for Columbia only. Then it was released globally and much like .tv and .me will be considered global domains.

One thing where .co might become popular for is when someone wants to start a new website but all names in .com, .net, .org and even .info have all been taken so this would be one of the next best options. It's certainly one of the better country code ones but I can't see it holding as much weight as .com, net, org and ,info.

Hotelsex, I would be careful buying too many of these names, remember, 98% of new extensions fail. In the case of the failed ones, only the premium keywords make decent sales and none of us are lucky enough to have any of those.

As you know, I love 3D as well, but you should try and get the premium 3D names in this new extension, its your best chnace of owning a very nice 3D name, even if it is a .CO, thats your best chance of making a nice ROI.

Im guilty of jumping on the bandwagon, but I wont spend anymore than $200-$300, wich is what I am prepared to risk. The odds are against us and thats just being realistic.

That's a lie. This is a ccTLD and always will be. .TV is a ccTLD and always will be. They try to brand it as something different and they succeed, fooling lots of people.

There are no buyers. The market is flooded with sellers - of which many probably do not have the funds to renew even 50% of their portfolio for another year.

    Hey Giles :)

I only grabbed a total of FOUR 3d .co names
.. and that's it .. they're mostly all gone already, if you can believe that... there are a few more i would love to have, but i'm done from here on out on all .co names in general... i had been searching for the past couple of days and wasn't able to find anything even remotely close to what i thought would have been worth it... so i decided to stick to what i know best ... my 3d world.

and i thought 3dMonitor WAS 'pretty much' a premium TBH ... it has more searches on it than many other names 'considered' a premium (22k/mo)... this is actually the '3dtv' of the computer world .. what good is having a 3dpc without the 3d monitor? (haha)

o... forgot to mention ... this actually came about because i returned two names today (.CO - i just wasn't in love with them)... discountsoftware and vegasdiscounts... i'm MUCH happier with these two 3d .co names then those two, so i'm happy i did it.

I know the chips are stacked against us in some regards, but i believe in both of these

... and just a note.. i never believed in .tel, or .asia, or .cm or .mobi or any other 'next big thing'... they all 'logically' made very little sense to me at the time (still do) but these two here (.co and 3d) just seem to be the real deal.

    time will tell
    always appreciate your feedback
hope u get your names :)

    i like 3d cable co(mpany)

.. with what's still out there (3dsmartphone, 3d shopping... ...etc..) you can get better (and more appealing) for the money though if you wanted to get 3d names in .CO although i wouldn't travel too far into the deeper regions of 3d with dot co names just yet
    IMO

I'm done with 3d .co, these 4 names are enough for me now. i'm little bit conservative toward IT names in general, thats why i usually don't go after specific products or trends.. i try to stick with general names that most likely will never go out of style. i'm not sure if the smartphones will be called smartphones or smart tablets or whatever is next.

Why is .co any different? All of these launches have had similar "spin" that we are seeing now. At the end of the day, you're just registering keyword.colombia. Similar, some are registering keywordkeyword.colombia and keywordkeywordword.colombia. Some will make bucks, most won't. What's funny is when you see keyword-keyword.tuvalu.
