I don't think this boat will ever sink, .co scored officially the most successful TLD since the .com! anyway..
This name were confirmed to me today: seopro.co, zawaj.co (marriage in arabic), bocaraton.co (city where i work and i want to annoy bocaraton.com so bad, now i guess i can), still have few pending at godaddy.com i have no idea why it's taking so long..

Unfortunately I couldnt get the ones I really wanted due to a DNS issue with registrations at my register. Every time I put in my DNS it said DNS not registered. So I had to have a nights sleep before I started registering.

    I ended up with
    fruitmachine.co
    slotland.co
    freeslot.co
    duy.co
    duc.co
    puc.co
    & beautytreatment.co for Mrs Andy.

The domain group .CO was just launched worldwide and should not be confused with the .com domain group. A long list of companies are gobbling up domain names. Yesterday Overstock.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:OSTK) announced that it had purchased the domain name O.CO.PRNewsChannel (http://www.prnewschannel.com) which earlier this week announced it is opening a news bureau in Boston, said today that it had purchased the domain name MyPR.CO as a new gateway for clients starting soon.

"Not only do we deliver press releases to the right audiences but we offer by far the most superior client services available in press release distribution," says Glenn Selig, president and CEO of Selig Multimedia, Inc., which owns and operates PRNewsChannel. "MyPR.co will be the gateway for that client experience."

he interest in the newly available domain ending .CO is immense – currently there are already more than 216,000 .CO addresses registered. The top-level domain .CO can represent expressions like “Company”, “Corporation” and “Commerce”. Furthermore, the domain extension is associated with “Social Networking” buzzwords like “Communities“, “Content“, “Connect“, “Communicate“ or “Collaborate“. .CO domains can be registered for a period of one year up to five years. The domain extension enjoys liberal registration policies: anyone in the world can register and transfer .CO domains without domicile or documentation requirements. The registration period for .CO domains is one year up to five years. A .CO domain name may consist of minimum three up to maximum 63 characters (without the top-level-domain .CO). Furthermore, it can include Spanish special characters as well as a hyphen (-).

    So which is the truth?
Will ".co" be a great alternative for com/net/org

or will it just sink with all the hype

technically this is a typo (pretty sure ONE 'L')
was the typo in the post or the name itself?

results are still high though - best of luck to you!!!
    :)
