.co domain names have been sold and they are told to be as popular as .com ones. What do you think about this?
All new extensions are usually claimed as sold and popular after launching, but overtime no extension can beat dot COM.
.co is cool and a good option. All the .coms are gone. What would you choose if you had option from these - YourCompanyName.net YourCompanyName.org YourCompanyName.co YCN.co ~JIMMY
Just once have I in my entire internet life visited a site with the .co extension. So its not normal (I probably spend 3 hours on my computer surfing every day...)
Unless is extremely important, I would stay away from the .co domains. Most users would get confused between the .com and .co and mistake the url if they haven't bookmarked your site. Regards
They couldn't have thought of a crappier domain extension... .co seriously? If i lose some traffic by using .com what the hell would .co do to my stats? hahaha Thanks, but no thanks.
Google recognize .CO domains just like .Com in their search engine. For me, .co will be in high value after 5 years because many big company have start using .CO extension.
Problem is that everytime a new extension comes up, such future popularity is procrastinated, and future comes and goes without having any of those extension beating the popularity of dot COMs.
I really have faith in .co domains.. Already sold some good ones on sedo such as jum.co just few months ago and made a decent profit. My current .co domain fio.co is doing well with currently 1 bidder and just under 2 days left on sedo at $259 =) hope it goes up since its a very short and catchy premium domain.
