Thoughts on Co-Citation with a trusted name linked around your anchor text? So if we were advertising paid education than we put a link to harvard.edu in the same post would that be beneficial as I have heard different theories and obviously have read Jim Boykins theory (which makes sense) but its from 2006.

Well the effect of this king of linking is very hard to measure. As always in SEO, you'll just be forced to use everything you THINK may work, then you just won't know which things worked, which didn't. Maybe if you're scientific enough you can take an existing page where you know the keyword positions, and try to spray a little harvard over it to see if anything will change over a month. Maybe that's the only way to really know. Then post the results! :)
