i previously have a co.cc domain for a personal blog. it seems after it expires, i need $3 to renew. i thought it states that its free for personal use?
It still is but it depends on what they understand with personal / commercial. Have you tried to contact them in this matter ?
The co.cc subdomains, they are not domains, are free unless they think the keywords in the domain have value. co.cc is now a mass of spammers and click fraudsters for the most part, so your best option would be to get a REAL domain name and use that for your blog. Co.cc is free for first year only. Then, you have to pay for renewal for each year. This is theTOS of Co.cc
