    Hi,

    I'm using YPN instead of google.
    My question is this:

    my site is about 'cars', but all the YPN ads are about loans, credit cards etc...

    I've made several updates to title, meta tags, and even wrote content that basically lists cars as the most relevant keyword... but still no targeted ads.

    Therefore after exploring more the code of YPN, and Google, i came to a conclusion, that Google has:

    google_keyword = "cars" but only available for PREMIUM publishers

    Is YAHOO the same ?
    Does yahoo have some kind of

    cnxt_ads_target = "cars"
    or
    cnxt_ads_keyword = "cars"

    I've also explored older sites, that still use the old Overture feed www23.overture.com .. but because of the encryption, there not much to be seen in the code... to de-cypher if there is a 'keyword' option.

    can anyone help ?
    thanks

    What you need to do is, go into your YPN account and use category targeting feature. Don't mess up with their generated ad code (its not permitted).

    If you have added YPN to your site recently, it may take some time for automatic targeting to work well (it sucks anyway with YPN). So use ad targeting from your YPN account.

    Yeah, just use the ad category targeting feature. It works well.
