*RaE* Okay, when people start making comments like this, I know that neither faith nor logic, nor science is going to get a fair shake, and I just leave the topic. *Waves* bye.

It is similar. But it is most likely a dead species. I will post back about Samantha's post after I finish tutoring.

I think this picture explains very well how the human skull has developed through the time. It's quite obvious.

That skull could belong to one of your ancestors. Now, please show me your evidence for human creationism.

First. Why are we not still evolving? Over the past 5,400 years we have had nothing but proof of regular humans just like us. By the way we only have records dating back to about 3400-3600 B.C.... I wonder why that is. And also, how do you know that that isn't a dead species?

1st. I would NEVER say that God and Christians only came from America. Never. Never. Never. I am just saying how American Christians have fallen and not looked upon what the bible says.

2nd. God ultimately controls things. Abortion is wrong. Killing babies is wrong. God gave us free-will set within His limits. He doesn't want babies to be killed through abortion, but He has allowed it through His sovereign will. I know God's will on that subject because it is clearly spoken in the Bible in more than 1 place.

3rd. The Bible is the most reliable source we have ever found as a human race. Do you question the writings of Alexander the Great in saying they are not true? How about the writings of Julius Caesar? There more old trusted sources that the bible is true than any other book ever written. We have less proof of Rome existing! The book of Job is in the Bible. Job is known outside the bible. He was back then the Bill Gates of his time. He was loaded. He wrote a book of the bible. King Solomon. The richest man to walk the earth. He is mentioned in about 6-7 books of the bible and he wrote 2 1/2 of them. Their is more proof of the bible being true than Rome or Greece or any other of the 29 great empires of the world existing.

just because something is in print, does not make it a fact, the KKK print stuff too, so you must believe in what their "bible" says as being fact too. right?
if god is all knowing, how come he never mentions the aztec's? or indians in the USA? or even the abo's in Austrailia? i mean if he created them, he would have talked about them to the people that wrote his words for all mankind to read and obey, right?

water into wine? blood from a stone? walking on water? feed 5000 with 5 fish and a loaf? all facts to be believed huh? oh well

Wrong, we are still evolving. Read the example I wrote above. But you may look after drastic changes, well that takes time since evolution is a slower process than you seem to have expected. When it come to Homo Sapiens, you can see that it had developing differently around the world due to the fact that there are different environment to adapt to. For example, the white race have evolved in colder climates where we don't need the same protection against UV lights. The asians, indians, eskimoes and the other races of Homo Sapiens are different because of the adaption to the local environment. Differences between races of Homo Sapiens are very few due to the fact that this race have only existed in about 200,000 years.

Also, Divergence between samples of chimpanzee and human DNA sequences is 5%, counting indels

Thats not what I am saying. Tell me why I should believe that Rome existed? Seriously.

At the tower of Babel (modern day iraq) God split all the people up because they all spoke 1 language and got to prideful. Then everybody spoke different languages and moved to their own giant parcels of land. So Gos split them all up and the Indians got a couple boats and moved to North America.

Have you never seen a miracle?

Read what you said. They are changing because of their environment. They are not evolving out of nothing. Nothing is, and ever, will evolve from nothing.

Of course Rome existed, have I denied that?

I'm sorry, but bones have been found from American indians that's older than what you think the Earth is.

Miracles exist? In case they do, they all follow newtons laws of physics. No human has ever had paranormal abilities, according to the evidence I've seen.

If you mean the evolution on this earth, it didn't evolve from nothing, it evolved from advanced structures of carbon molecules.

You have not denied that. Their is more evidence of Jesus then Rome historically. And not just through books.

How do prove that the bones were older than 6k? Whats your proof. Not therory.

Thats where the faith part of Christianity comes in. Personally I have seen lives changed in such ways that it made drop my mouth in my Christian walk.

I never denied that Jesus have existed, but.. hell no that there's more evidence than Rome. Rome was once the worlds largest empire, but you suggest that one man that didn't have an important position within the politics leaves more evidence? Well, in that case, it's simply because you can't filter facts correctly. Perhaps, the Bible is your only book for historical studies.

It's spelled theory, not therory. By using different instruments, you can get a fair answer in how old a bit of organic materials is.

I think that such changes can be explained with logical reasoning. Your faith gives you comfort, but does it really give you the truth?

btw.. my agnostic standpoint gives me a lot of comfort.

I know where you are going. If I give you my answer to this, you will ask where that come from and so on. Until we come to the big bang, which there's no proof that it was caused by god. It could been caused by the eastern bunny or poseidon as well, or it might just have been a simple start out of nothing.

1st. There are more historical writings from trusted historians about jesus than Rome.

2nd. I made a spelling mistake. Those tools do not prove that they are that old. They are tuned to do what we know. We make many mistakes.

3rd. My faith causes me pain. I suffer for the name of Christ. Don't tell me it gives me comfort. I do comfort. But it is in the fact that I know my sins have been forgiven.

How does something come from nothing? If it came from something like the eastern bunny or Poseidon, evolution is disproved again.

The big bang theory is this according to scientists: A tiny dot or exploded spinning and it created the universe and spinning planets.

My question is why do some planets spin clockwise and some counter-clockwise then?

What are according to your definition, "trusted historians"?

    Ok, sorry.

    If it
    1. Gives you pain
    2. Have no empirical evidence that backs it up

Then why do you believe in it? I could understand if it was for the comfort.
