CNAME settings question ?

    hi all
    I have small problem with mt DNS settings
    and here a simple question :
    how many ( and witch ) CNAME settings are usually set ( in WHS panel ) ?

    You need to set with following

    CNAME Record:
    Host Name: www
    Point to: domainname.com

    Host Name: ftp
    Point to: domainname.com

    I have now :

    mail 14400 in CNAME to domain.com

    start 14400 in CNAME to domain.com

    www 14400 in CNAME to domain.com

    do I need to set something else ?

    why you want to use Cname record? cname records are not for emailing purpose
    for email, you need to set MX records.

    CNAME records maps an alias or nickname to the real domain, if you want to open, www.yourdomain.com

    you need to point www as CNAME to your domain.com (14400 is only TTL time, you can use default)
