    I would like to point same location by 3 domains.

    1. abc.com -> main domain : ip 123.123.123.123
    2. 1st-pointing-abc.com
    3. 2nd-pointing-abc.com

    Now, domain with godaddy and hosting too.

    How will I chnage CNAME and A record in case of 1st-pointing-abc.com and 2nd-pointing-abc.com?

    Right now----
    1st-pointing-abc.com:
    A Record: @ ip:123.123.123.123
    CNAME: www "points to" abc.com

    What I am doing wrong? I am getting the message:
    godaddy says:
    any help greatly appreciate. thanks!

    like a shared hosting? ie. one dns server and multiple websites hosted on same IP.
    if so just do a apache virtual host and point all domains to one dns server (ns1 and ns2)

    Ok, we have solved the issue with godaddy's help.

    Basically we are using DNS management tool for last 2 domains. We added "A record" to point the IP where actual site is being hosted.

    Basically, we needed to add these last 2 domains with abc.com. Godaddy calls it "domain alias", cPanel calls it "addon domains".

    GoDaddy was not allowing us to add these domains with abc.com, as these domains had own hosting account. GoDaddy support guys did it in minutes! They added these 2 with abc.com and our site started to work.

    A great example of how to make complicated a simple thing! :D
