CMS for Press Releases - Which is Best?

I'd like to get some feedback on software I should use for press releases.... For a very long time my press release section has been static HTML and I would pick and choose the press releases I wanted to publish on my site...

I have been thinking of installing a CMS so that users can post there own press releases....

Should I use something that comes with fantastico like mombo or drupal or something like that?? What do you think? Anyone use one of these systems for a press release section?

Yep, a good idea. I'm also looking for a script to handle press releases. Looks like there are a few people who would be interested in buying such a script, so there must be a clever developer out there who can offer this :)

i would use a modified wordpress theme. wordpress is nice and easy when your delete all the comment stuff and you get a free xml feed as well which is great for press releases.
joomla (=mambo) is fine too, but i only makes sense if you have multiple author account.

do you want to include it in an existing site or you set up a new page? do you have mysql databases available?

    I'm using Drupal.

Everything seems fine, I'm half way doing it. Let you know about it when I completed.
