    Hi All,

Can anyone suggest a free/open source content management system for a celeb fan site? Typical features that I am looking for include polls, news stories (with ability for members to add comments), forums, photo gallery etc.

    Ajay.

Check out postnuke also (branch off phpnuke)

also there are some cool modules for postnuke like hotornot and other stuff like that which may appeal to your audience

And Mambo, it doesn't have the security issues that phpnuke has.

just curious what security issues you are refering too.... I think you will find as mambo's userbase grows its holes will be exposed like the other popular cms's....

I mean they have patches just like mambo has patches for its holes =)

During the years I've tested and used several of the widely used CMS-systems... PHP-Nuke, Postnuke, MD-Pro, e107, Mambo... and finally found and decided to choose Drupal.

If I were in situation to build a site like that, I'd definately go with Drupal as a development platform (take a look at my other posts for the reasons)

    ...2 cents ;)
