Hi guys, i got a perfect domain for a gaming fansite and i would like to know what would be the best cms for this type of sites. I have a good web php mysql xhtm and css knowledge and so i guess i could use any cms, but i really have to time to create a new one for this site. I will have to offer the following: About -And subcategories News -And categories Downloads - And categories Links Simple Content Pages etc, etc Please help me out. Thank you!
Joomla or wordpress are two of the industry leaders. Depending on exactly what you are doing would determin which one.

I would go with Joomla. here is one I started to develop for joomla but I never finished (client didnt pay) demolayout.jpg Anyhow, Joomla works great for gaming portals/clan sites
