I would kill for cms that could have this smooth, web 2.0 weel, and lightweight as these wordpress themes http://www.woothemes.com/demo/optimize/?style=default http://woothemes.com/demo/delegate/?style=default But that has same flexibility in layout, module positions like joomla http://demo.rockettheme.com/dec09/features/module-positions Any ideas? Anyone? Drupal doesn't have nice themes.
You should be able to find what you need here http://themeforest.net/ very impressive admin panels on alot of these wp themes. hope that helps, Nigel
Why not create a killer theme for Drupal? You can make a wordpress site behave like joomla. You only have to know your way around with functions.
For some people drupal is quite complicated, not so user friendly. But if you manage the understand how it work, this cms is like what you want. It has content position and faster than joomla and wordpress. I know it because my friend running drupal site with over 100,000 posts and his traffic is around 20,000 unique per day
You have a link to his site... I have tried drupal in the past (about 4yrs ago) and thinking of trying it again. PM if you would like.
