Cluster computing with various machines

    I recently learned about cluster computing. I've seen it done with video games consoles as well as traditional computers. I'm wondering how to go about linking several different kinds of machines together. I'd like to link 2 machines currently running Windows 7 (I'm fine with changing the OS), with a laptop, a ps2, PS3, , a tablet and a Wii. I understand this is a very non typical format, but I love the idea of the challenge. Any suggestions on how to go about it or where to start my research would be very much appreciated.
