    Haha, funny as hell. It amazes me that he knew how to ban an IP address, but did not know about search spiders :confused:

    Haha. That is really funny!

    Although, this might be another stupid question: how did he know they were on his site? The only way I've ever known when Google had crawled one of my sites was when I started getting traffic from there.

    Google has a list of IP'S vBulletins and SMF has settings if you want them to convert the IP into (i.e, yahoo spider, google spider etc.) But apparently on SMF it just says "google" haha.
