Hecky: Firstly thanks for all your entries. Note that I loved your first entry as it had a very corporate feel to it - simple colours and flat except it lacked dices like in my previouis replies. Your next two designs didn't appeal to me simply because they lacked a few elements of the first design which I particularly liked: - it didn't have a border/edge around it - the dice itself was almost trying to look hip 3d - the stripes didn't really appeal to me Your latest design was an improvement to your first, but still had the funky looking dice in there [I didn't like the funky looking dice - it kind of wrecked the image of being serious] I can only say that coolwanz improved on your original concept which almost ticked all the boxes [no I didn't have a checklist or I would have listed it!] Having said the above about how I like the border and edge around the text, please keep in mind it is a contest and I am open to all ideas. e.g. designX's last entry #31 and Ariestoteles entry #30 are absolutely fantastic even without borders which I liked. This is why I need your ideas as I'm creatively challenged Crowquill: feels a little too generic and the choice of colour makes it look old. What I mean by that is I can make out the wings too much, almost as if we're associated with flying/animals So far the winner is still coolwanz followed closely by Ariestoteles [#30] and designX [#31] in no particular order. Again thankyou for all your submissions, theres still about another 13 hours to go from this post. Good luck!
That's actually a fantastic design crowquill. Seems very well thought out. Could you add some colors for reference?
Ariestoteles: looks very very good. each one of your designs grow on me a little more however with this design it seems to look better as simply white. Perhaps try reducing the white outline around the text/image for the colored designs
Thanks for the feedback, beedee. Just let me know if you need me to try some tweaks. I'll be here kind regards
I decided i will enter this contest so please wait for a little bit. I'm not sure when the deadline is anyway heh.
Here's my submission : Not really a finished version; just wanted to ask for feedback at this point. Davey.
