Cloud service that offers ddos protection trough a proxy

    Hello

    Is there any good cloud service that offers ddos protection trough a proxy for my forum?

    I want to stay on my current server but just protect it using such a service if it is possible.

    How effective is that kind of solution?

    My host is at Netherland so a close to this place will be better i think than a USA location service.

    Can you please elaborate what you mean by 'protection through a proxy' How are you planning to achieve/setup such feature for your current server ?
    Well, a server behind a Dedicated Firewall are usually safe from hacking and DDOS.
