double hyphen always sucks and makes domain less worth. good for mini site though. for me its low $xx only.
While cloud computing is a big keyword (and a big niche), I have literally NEVER seen a URL with a double hyphen ranked in Google. Just something to keep in mind.
FYI, cloud--computing.net is a developed site with a Japanese company offering Cloud computing services.
It would worth no more than low to mid $xx undeveloped. So your best bet is to develop it, then flip it.
You haven't build your site yet. How can we appraise? You have just registered the domain. Yet miles to go. Keep working on your site with proper content and seo strategies.
What to appraise? While going to check whois of the domain at who.is, I found it is dropped domain. And the last whois check at who.is is 128 days before.
It has nothing to do with Dropped or not. What is the Market Value of the domain or How much it could sell for? You only have to give your Opinion.
My opinion: the double hyphen carries 0 value. You shouldn't use this kind of tricks. It is like mispelled domain. For example: Its considered as trick by registering domain name ortuk.com to sell because orkut.com is high value domain. You could have try without double hyphen and with other TLDs if .com was not available.
Since u told about cloud--computing.net why dont u offer this domain to them since they already have a setup at .net they would be interested in the domain
