Clothing line review

Hey guys;

I opened my clothing line one year ago.

Recently did a bunch of updates including the site design.

Would love comments and feedback.

Looks very professional, keep up the good work.

 

Design-wise:
- the pluses on the far left side of events stated on "Our story" page are a bit confusing since i expected some sort of interaction after clicking/hovering them (same goes for the "Family" page and the same sign used before names).
- the logo doesn't have a logotype and the tagline is pretty small compared to other objects on most pages, consider enlarging them a little
- the blog should have a more clearly stated link back to the original website (and should open in new tab/window form the main website...). You could also add back to top hovering button/link since it loads older posts when you scroll to the bottom (I plan to use a customized version of it in news/articles on my website as well...).

Optimization-wise:
- the most important feature that could make your website load faster, aside enabling compression is to focus on image optimization and shifting from PNG images used for photographs (such as photos of merchandize) into JPG.

For example http://cache1.bigcartel.com/product_images/61801007/Untitled-4.png has 414.21 KB while it could be 6 to 10 times smaller in JPG.

 

Your site is looking awesome, basically for those images .Great color combination and fonts are really looking perfect here.Overall this is a great job and I like it.

 

Very neat one. I like it though, too much clothing lines these days

I like the designs so far, but would like it even more if there was some more subtlety in implementing the logo, or something more psychedelic

 

Pretty cool, I like the purple hoodie on the homepage slider. Other than that the sites design is clean and easy to nav. I'll get my gf to look at the clothes as fashion isn't really my thing.

I liked you site quite a lot. I loved the color scheme and the fact that it loaded quickly.
