Closing a PayPal account

I want to close my paypal account and open another one in another email because my postal address has a slight modification.

I have $35 in my paypal right now. If I close the account will they send me a check for $35? Even if their min. payment amount is $150 ?

 

They don't have any minimum payment amount. You can change that option into zero and withdraw the whole amount. Then you can start a new account with new address

Theres really no point in doing that b/c you can change ALL your account details once you log in. All your doing is erasing your accounting history.

 

If you have relatives in usa, you can withdraw the amount via xoom. Paypal does not allow you to withdraw it before $150.

 

Okay now i got to know
U have mistakenly putted the wrong address. Now if u do able to edit u might be successful

Let say a story here

A guy registered a account with fake info in paypal. Now paypal Just watched the address is XXX and they want proof of that address.. Now u go inside and edit the Address to ABC... Paypal Still looking for XXX.
U cannot close the account Until The ISSUE is Resolved if it is opened in the Resolution Center... You Can't withdraw also... Try ur self if successful than transfer funds to new account

 

you can always ask a friend to keep your $35 temporarily until you openeed the new one.

 

If it is limited how can u transfer ?

 

you can check if the refund link in the transaction details still work you can return the money to the sender. otherwise it will take at elast 180 days to get the money available for withdrawal to bank.
