Hey everyone. I just got this nasty Email a few minutes ago... But, when I log onto my account, all it says is "Your account access is limited. Learn how to remove this limitation." Is this normal, or should I notice anything different? By the way, I'm guessing I won't be able to withdraw the money right now if I add a bank account, right? Another thing, has anyone heard of/experienced a situation where an account was opened after it had been closed?
Then contact them as they made a mistake. Also, assure yourself not to click on the links provided in that e-mail as they might have been set up by a phisher, although it sounds legit.
just give them the necessary documents to prove that you're from saudi arabia like passport, drivers license and etc.
getjimmy - They didn't limit it, they closed it. I did call them, and even though the guy was very friendly, he said that the decision was final Zwitterion - Here's the thing, it's a Canadian PayPal account. Even though, I am still accessing it from a supported country, so I don't see what the problem is. 1-3-3-7 - I will definitely be doing that, I just need some more info first. IAMJos3 - Like I said to getjimmy, it was already limited, now they closed it.
When u called them what exactly did they say about the country.. Did u tell them that your country is in accepted range . do you use proxy by any chance Edit I See u choose Canadain account maybe u should have chosen saudi instead
Ah I see. They did that to prevent fraud. They probably think your account was hacked as your logging in from a different IP.
Idiots. I sent them an Email, hopefully that will help - although I'm 100% it won't. By the way, I wanted to know if this was possible: People send payments to my friend's Paypal account > he sends me the money using his Mooneybooker account and takes 5% (or whatever) I know that you must trust the person a lot to do this, but would it be possible?
Had the same problem, waited 180 days and finally got to cash out. Your idea would work, however people can always chargeback your friend, and this could piss him off. Just letting you know, sean
Sean - Hehe, it isn't about the cash really ($120 only), but it's about using PayPal for tons of other things. People can always charge him back, that's true, but not taking that into account, the idea would probably work out, right?
Rajaie, the amount of money is not the issue...it is the principal in the matter. How would you like it if I just took $120 out of your pocket? I highly doubt you would say something like "Shukran" or something. stinking PayPal...more like PaySopranos
True. It isn't about the money, but the principles, as you say. But the thing is, with PayPal, there are no such things as principles involved, only money. I'm not saying that $120 is nothing, but I'm just saying that it could have been a lot worse, that's all. LOL, "Shukran", where did you learn that? Yes, PayPal sucks, really much. Too bad they've got the winning cards
