If there's a popular site, and you make a site with a similar name and same looking logo (even if the log isn't unique really), are there legal issues with it?

Ex. say you want to make a site called...www.carspace.com, and the logo has the same myspace font and looks like :

    Carspace.com
    --a place for cars

There will be a legal issue of myspace does anything about it. I think the internet laws are vague but if myspace wanted to do anything they can since they have the money.

I think since the website's have totally different content it shouldnt be a problem.

Yeah. I'm going to do it with YouTube's logo...would that be a problem?

There's nothing special to the logo, it's just impact font and a red rectangle. They won't come after me, will they?

It doesn't look the same and it wouldn't be a problem. That's for sure. The youtube logo has more than just the ordinary text and you will be in more risk that way.
