"Clone-Copy Others Campaign" Work or not?

As many people already know by now, there is a ton of money to be made through PPC and affiliate programs. However, Google AdWords is a tricky game. You can literally waste thousands of dollars trying to develop a profitable campaign, only to spend far more on ads than what you make in sales, leading to frustration and ultimately failure.

Now there are many alleged "carbon copy","copy and profit","copy live compaign" program selling in the market!

I am wondering, If it s true, why they have to disclose such top secrets?Maybe it's MORE tough for them now to make money from campaings than in selling educational programs. I've also heard that many people DO benefit from such programs. To the end, what is truth?

"Clone-Copy Others Campaign" Work or not?

I realized that finding profitable campaigns on my own is far from a safe way to make money, though. Most people who try to copy someone's ad will still end up wasting hundreds of dollars on AdWords credits without making a profit like as using GCD. If there's even one word that's different from their ad, you completely change the formula, and likely won't produce any results at all. There's also no true way to know if the person you are cloning is making a profit or not.

To really make a profit, I can't just clone someone. I need them to be right there to show you exactly how their ad works, and explain every single detail so I can set it up for myself.

but same question, who wanna share this secrets in detail, they are not worrying about educating more competitors against them?

I guess nobody`s going to share their methods (at least the ones that still work for them). There are some websites that sell such "guides to copy their own profitable campaigns" but I find it hard to believe.

Are you asking the right question though?
Do you have the right goals and mindset in place while doing this?

Do you expect to copy someone else's work and expect instant similar results?
Of Course Not. If your goal is to research the market, it can save you a tremendous amount of time.

There are two things we do in affiliate marketing.
    1) Research Profitable Markets and launch targeted campaigns

    2) Monitor our campaigns through tracking and split testing to constantly improve.

Since you mention GCD, I'll add that GCD is an awesome research tool.
You could manually do the same thing by hand. You could type your hundreds of keywords into google every hour and track which ads, which display urls, which destination urls, and which landing pages are statistically running. With this research, you would launch a campaign, and then begin stage 2 of tracking and split testing to improve, improve, and improve some more.

There is no guarantee of the same results if you copy, because you will never have the same Google Adwords account history as someone else. You could not even copy your own campaign and get the exact same results on a new adwords account. You could get close I'm sure, exact, I don't think so.

In the end, it's all about mindset. What are your goals up front. I say RESEARCH, not Clone.

One other point, the originator of this thread is obviously promoting CopyNProfit. This is an excellent program for newbies, it give some great examples of campaigns, ads, keywords, and suggested implementation techniques. If you expect to clone/copy and go to the bank, you will get cooked. If you look at this as research, and learn, take it slow, and test, test, test, you have a chance at success.

Nothing worth doing is free. Do the work and you have a chance.

    Cheers
    Brian
