cloaking=only onpage optimization?

    i have a question ..
    By cloaking you deliver to google a rich text page...how is that gonna help when everybody knows that onpage optimization it's not as important as offpage optimization. Could a cloaked site rank better then a site that works on link building aswell..and if yes how is that explained?:confused:

    Cloaking is bad for SEO, because google doesn't want you to do it.
