I have setup a service that shortens URL's, and hides them until
you get to your target location. I actually set it up for myself only,
however, I do not see why anyone could not use it. It is beta version,
and the final version should be ready in a week.

If you use it, let me know how it works out.

I think you'd have to iFrame the page to do that (so that your URL is the only one shown in the address bar,) which is usually against the terms in most affiliate programs.

I see that you have a few sites under your belt, you can always cloak your affiliate URL with a PHP redirect.

Yes, TinyURL can be a good form of redirect but the problem is, once deployed, you will have no control it. What if your merchant suddenly close down his affiliate program or changed his terms? You will have to change all the links on the lenses manually. However, with a PHP redirect, you will only need to change one file via your FTP. ;)

You'd have to use a link redirection service, as already suggested.

You can't try and use HTML to mask the links. Trust me, I've tried!

I have a few good How To Squidoo lenses with information on what can and can't be done with HTML on a lens and it can't be done.
